About the Trust

Bethany Care Trust was formed to provide care for elderly Christians in the assemblies, although when there are vacancies other Christians are accommodated depending on need. The home provides residential care and is operated through a charitable trust registered through the charities commission. A large proportion of the construction costs came from the sale of the former Bethany residential home in Ealing, London.

Bethany is a lovely, purpose built home, providing a very high standard of accommodation and care. This high standard can possibly give a misleading impression of well-being to visitors however, who sometimes fail to understand the charitable nature of the trust. When a vacancy occurs, it is the policy of the trust to give priority to those who are most in need of care and the individuals financial position whether self financed or supported by social services is a secondary consideration.

A vital part, therefore, in financing the home is the gifts received from assemblies and individual believers. This financial support is a great encouragement to all who are associated with this work for the Lord.
